Summer Camp Information
Willow Grove Stables offers a variety of summer camps each year: Horsemanship, Training and Coaching and Ladies Pampering Camp. For further information than what is listed below, please feel free to contact us.
3 Days in Length
Regardless of what level you are at, this program will improve your riding and horsemanship skills. Stable management will have many aspects of horse care including grooming, lunging, care and fitting of tack. Mounted lessons will cover flatwork; introduction to jumping – or improving your skills for the show ring. This camp includes:
Six hours of instruction daily including two hours of mounted activities.
- Experienced and qualified coaches and instructors
- Well-trained experienced horses
- Alberta Equestrian Federation Rider Level 1-8 Certification available
The dates for the 2018 horsemanship camps are:
- Session #1 July 4 - 6
- Session #2 July 9 - 11
- Session #6 July 18 - 20 French Speaking camp
- Session #9 August 1 - 3
- Session #10 August 8 - 10 French Speaking camp
5 Days in Length
Whether your goals are competitive, achieving your rider level certificates, preparing for your coaching levels or recreational riders with specific training needs, the camp will provide a unique, intensive and fun way to meet your goals. The additional two days of camp will allow our participants Discipline Specific training such as Course Design for Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation, Equine Canada Rules, Competition Simulation Training, Speed and Pace Control, Cross Country schooling and Learn To Ride program Evaluations.
The dates for the 2018 Specialty camps are:
- Session #3 July 9 - 13
- Session #8 July 30 - August 3
- Session #11 August 13 - 17
Coaching Camp information has been moved to here!
We are excited to announce our brand new series of Adult Camps! The plan is to have a wonderful experience with horses; educate riders on taking care of horses while also pampering the adults with some things that are good for the soul. And of course, to have lots of FUN! Our concept is as follows:

Day Two will also include:
